What a Turkey

Eric made the coolest Turkey hat I have ever seen at Preschool yesterday. It even had tail-feathers! I love it when I pick Eric up from Preschool- he is always so excited to see me and I always get a huge hug- like it's been forever since he last saw me instead of a few hours. He is an awesome kid!
HAPPY HAPPY THANKSGIVING
FROM THE ADAMS!

Sooooooooooooo Tired

I can always tell when the kiddo's aren't feeling well when I find them sound asleep in odd places. The other day I was in my room getting ready- 10 minutes later when I came out Eric was sitting on the sofa and I asked him where Lily was. he put his finger to his lips and said "shhhhh Lily is sleeping" and pointed down. I walked over to find Lily sound asleep in the floor with a whole collection of binkys (one in her mouth and 2 on the floor!)

Happy Happy Birthday Lily Dear!

I can't believe a year has flown by already since Lily made her grand entrance into this world! It has gone by so fast! Here are a few shots of Lily opening her presents with the help of Eric and Daddy. She got a panio, color crayons and a huge coloring book. The panio (that Eric picked out) was a hit and Lily spent most of the day dancing.

Of course there was cake! At first Lily was very lady like and would only stick one tiny finger in the frosting, lick it off and then stick her finger back in the frosting...but with a little help from Eric and Daddy Lily got a hang of digging in. (I'm not sure if you can tell- but her hair is long enough for 2 little pigtails!!)

Here is Lily in her fancy birthday dress. I'm totally copying Kim and plan on making/buying Lily a fancy birthday dress every year! And i have to tell you- it is sooooooo fun having a little girl to dress up!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Time to play!

The mall just opened a new kids playing area so the kids and I went to check it out. when I told them we were going to go play they stood by the door waiting for me (I can't say they were being patience- Eric kept saying comeon Mom!)

Once we got there both of them took off! Lily has recently learned about how fun slides are so she hung out by the slide for a while...at least untill Eric taught her how to crawl through a tunnel.

Eric had a blast running around and being crazy!

And after a while Lily decided she was too cool for the other kids and it was time for a snack.

Craft Fair

So like I said I recently had a booth at my very first craft fair. Here is a picture of my set up. I had skirts, baby bath aprons, burp cloths, diaper clutchs, receiving blankets, headbands, flower clips, quilts, rice heating pads, I spy bags, toddler belts, chocolate covered popcorn, and marge's yummy popcornballs for sale. It was only one day so that was a great way to "get my feet wet" in the craft fair world. For the most part I was pretty successfull and was able to make enough to cover my costs. Most importantly I was able to get my name out there. Big suprise was the fact that no-one wanted chocolate covered popcorn! Seriously what is wrong with these people!

We've made it to Blogging Land!

Well I guess the time has come for the Sunny Side Adams to join the rest of the world in the land of blogging! Hopefully this will make it much easier to keep family and friends up to date on what's new with us. I'm not to sure how often I will get to update but I will do my best! Right now I've only a spare moment while Lily naps and Eric keeps himself occupied yelling at people walking by outside...(don't worry he's not cat-calling or anything- he's just saying Hi)

Not a whole lot has been giong on- but it's been enough to keep me busy! I did my first craft fair on Nov 1st and had a great time. eric has been doing great in Pre-school. Lily has been growing way to fast (turning a year old tomorrow!!!) and Skip has been plugging away at school (only 2 classes left-Yeah!) and working very hard. All in all we are doing great here in Sunny Florida!
