Yay for living somewhere where there are mountains and tons of places to camp! We finally got to go on a family camping trip and we LOVED it!Eric and Lily helped Skip get the tent ready. Lily was so tired from the drive that she needed a place to lay down...Little Lady chill-laxin'
We went on a beautiful hikeThe kids learned the art of roasting marshmallowsKids slept great! Skip and I...well not so great due to the rocks under the tent...but hey that's what camping is all about right! We all had so much fun and can't wait to go again, and as soon as we know what Skip's work schedule is going to be like- we are going!

Big Day for Skip

On June 23rd Skip graduated from the Police Academy!!!!! YAY- he is officially a Police Officer. Time has flown by...it seriously seems like yesterday was Valentines Day and he got the phone call saying he got the job with Ogden City. Now its 4 months later and he is ready to start his Field Training. I'm super proud and excited for Skip in this new career. Skip and 2 other guys sang the National Anthem at the graduation and sounded wonderful. My camera was being retarded but I did get it all on video.Skip with his Police ChiefSkip and his Mom...we aren't sure how much longer she will be with us so we were so happy she was able to be there for Skip's big day.2 of my brothers drove all the way from Boise ID just to be there for Skip's graduation.I'm so proud of my Officer

I had a hot date the other day with my little man, Eric. He turned 6 years old! How in the world did he grow up so fast and who said it was ok!?Eric and I (with Evie in tow) went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Eric was so excited he ran halfway through the museum without really looking at anything before he slowed down to see what there was.He had a lot of fun at the water tableHad to read about DinosaursHe is such a little STUD!Happy Birthday my Little Man! We are all so very lucky to have you in our lives!

6 Months and 7 Years

Pretty exciting day for us here in the Adams Family. Today Evie turns 6 months old. And today also marks 7 years of marriage for Skip and I.My Little Lady is 6 months old today. Man the time has flown by!!! Evie now has her 2 bottom teeth. Teething has been a piece of cake with Evie. No drooling, runny nose, crankiness, or teething gel. One morning she had a tooth and that was that! She is such a mellow baby for the most part...specially if I am in her sights. She is a chubby baby weighing in at 23 lbs. She has started eating solid foods and so far loves sweet potatoes and green beans. She is now wearing 12-18m size clothing. Evie has also figured out the art of rolling over, she loves to roll over but isn't a big fan of being on her stomach for very long. Evie is a total joy and I couldn't be more in love with her!
Yesterday Skip and I went out to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. It's hard to believe its been 7 years already! We had a fun kid free morning up at Olympic park. We went on the alpine slides
and the extreme zip line. They were both such a rush and so much fun. Fun stuff helps us remember that we are young!I'm so glad I married Skip all those years ago...it hasn't always been a cake walk but I'm lucky I have such a wonderful husband. Sure do love you Skip!!! Can't wait to see what the next 7 years brings!
