Words to Live By
This year instead of new years resolutions I have picked 3 words that I'm going to try and live by. They are ADVENTURE! I want to try and make everyday an adventure for my kids, and I want to try new things that I usually wouldn't try. After all you only live once so why not make the most of it. The second word is LOVE. I want to make sure that my family and friends know that I love them. Not only by telling them on a daily basis by but showing them through service. My third word for the year is UNDERSTAND. I want to better understand my husband and kids and why they do the things they do. I want to better understand the Gospel and how it applies to me personally. I want to really get to know things and not just take them for face value. So here's to 3 little words that I hope will make a big impact on 2011!

Christmas
Dang I meant to get this done yesterday before the new year began...but didn't quite get around to it. Christmas was wonderful this year! Wish I would have gotten more pictures of all the fun! HJ, Marge and Dakota came down for a few days. We played games and made gram cracker housesEva also came and got to stay through Christmas. Skip, Eva and I took the kids out to play in the snow and build snowmen. They were awesome, but the rain melted them before I got a picture. Eric sang a couple songs(and danced) with his class in a Christmas program, it was so stinkin cute! I got it on video but it's not letting me download it. We got to go see a couple of Santa's reindeer. On Christmas Eve the kids got new bathrobes and slippers instead of pj's. We never needed bathrobes in FloridaThe kids decorated sugar cookies for SantaI think they ate more than they left for Santa!
Santa brought the kids their very own art station...so they will leave Mommy's craft stuff alone...
And of course we have spent lots of time snuggling with our EvieIt's hard to believe that another Christmas has come and gone...I'm so glad we got to be here in Utah with family this year!
